Smallpipes. Big satisfaction.

Pipes arrived in very good time by air freight. A very good deal as I could use bellows from my HD border pipes.
Beautiful mellow sound. Bottom G more tricky than on border pipes but getting the hang of it. I'm glad I have both sets now. Very different vibe to each.

I have purchased a set of Scottish smallpipes and I am absolutely delighted about it. The quality of the craft is very good, same goes for the quality of the woods used to make the instrument (cocobolo in my case). Thanks to the recommendation of Nida, I installed Ezeedrone reeds and a chanter reed from Dunfion: the instrument has a very nice and warm sound! The customer service is very efficient, proactive and professionnal (a big thank to Nida!) Yes, i would clearly recommend Hakam Din instruments if i am asked! Kind regards!

I've been playing the GHP's for 20+ years in Pipe Bands and due to a hernia just can't play the big pipes anymore. I took a chance on the Scottish Small Pipes being that I just can't afford a top of the line set, so I can keep playing. They arrived sooner than I thought and actually were nicer than had expected. I did a little tweaking and have been playing them for a couple of days now. My wife who's been around the Pipe Bands as well says they sound very nice. Have ordered a set of EZ drone reeds to enhance them even more. Hakam Din representative was very quick to respond to my questions as well.....

These are an excellent way to get into smallpipes. The Cocobolo wood is beautiful, the bag cover looks great, the carrying bag is excellent! Buy the ezeedrone reeds to go with them. I'm an experienced piper (46 years), it took me 10 minutes to set them up and get them playing. My only change will be to retie the main stock so the drones lie how I want them. At 1/8th the cost of "name brand" smallpipes, these are better than I expected!
