This G clarinet in the Albert system, known as the Sol Türk Klarnet, is widely used in Turkish folk, classical, and urban şarkı music, as well as in Kurdish and Arabic regional traditions. It plays a central role in wedding ensembles (düğün müziği), street and festival bands, and traditional groups throughout Anatolia and the Middle East.
It is also commonly featured in Kurdish halay music, Arabesque and Middle Eastern ensemble styles, and various regional dance repertoires.
