Classical F Clarinet (Fa) - 7 Key - Thomas Key

Reimagining of a clarinet by Thomas Key, a London-based maker. The original is housed in the Bate Collection at Oxford University.

This clarinet is ideal for basset horn parts where the extended range down to written C is not needed. It features a speaker key, A key, throat trill key, E key, and F# key for the left hand, along with an Ab key for the right hand. Additionally, to address the challenge posed by the F/C key's distance on a 5-key clarinet, an extra key has been added for easier access.

• Pitch A=440 hz. 
• Equipped with extra barrel for A=442 hz.
  
• Crafted from Indian Cocobolo wood with imitation Ivory protection rings.
• The keys are casted from brass, steel springs with best suitable leather pads.
• It is designed to be used with a standard Bb clarinet mouthpiece. The barrel receiver is tailored for modern Bb mouthpieces, including the Vandoren B45.
  
• Included in the package are two bells, 'bulbous' designed after Anton Stadler's clarinet and 'straight'.
  
• Additionally, accessories such as a plush lined protective case, extra set of pads, cleaning cloth, and a carrying strap are provided.
