One of the finest examples of Italian instrument making of the 18th century. The Palanca model is the most widely reproduced historical flute in the world, and today fewer than 25 original Palanca flutes are known to exist. The Palanca flute can be described as a versatile Baroque flute, suitable for a wide range of Baroque repertoire.

Reproduction of the original by Carlo Palanca (Turin, 1691–1783), owned by Michael Lynn.
