A Clarinet - Albert System

Our Albert System Clarinet in A (la) is a traditional instrument widely used in Azerbaijani folk and symphonic mugham music, as well as in the expressive clarinet traditions of Epirus and northern Greece.

It is especially valued for its warm, vocal like tone and its ability to perform the delicate melodic ornaments essential to mugham, as well as the sustained phrases, microtonal inflections, and expressive glissandi characteristic of Greek Epirot and Macedonian repertoire. Its distinctive sound makes it ideal for both solo performances and ensemble settings in folk and classical fusion contexts.

• Crafted from Cocobolo or Grenadilla black wood. 
• Wood ends are protected by rings.
• Keywork is available in silver or gold plated finish. 
• It is designed to be used with a standard Bb clarinet mouthpiece. 
• Equipped with two barrels A440 and 442Hz.
• Adjustable thumb rest.
• Additionally, accessories such as a plush lined protective case,  extra set of pads, extra reed, carrying neck sling and cleaning cloth are provided.
