The Chanter:

We have recently made some changes to our Bagpipes, specifically the chanter in order to improve intonation. The Chanter is now tuned on a R.T. Shepard Chanter Reed at A=480hz to suit modern standards. We've designed the chanter to ensure minimal or no taping is required. 

The Drones: 

The set includes the standard Bass and two Tenor Drones, fully combed and beaded, tunable between A=472hz and A=482hz

The B-25 is crafted from seasoned Indian Cocobolo wood (Dalbergia Sissoo), in it's natural shade or shaded black for aesthetics, adorned with Imitation Ivory Mounts, Nickle Ferrules and Slides.

We prefer Indian Cocobolo Wood in our starter models because it offers a resonant warm sound and is highly durable, resistant to cracking and warping which adds to it's longevity.

The Pipe Bag:

The pipe bag incorporated in this set features a durable synthetic leather with medium dimensions measuring 28 inches in length and 12 inches in height. You can upgrade to an oversized pipe bag measuring at 32x14 at no cost however, please note that the upgrade would increase the handling time.

The synthetic leather offers low maintenance however, you can upgrade to a cowhide leather bag for an additional $50. The pipe bag is guaranteed to be airtight either way and we offer free replacement pipe bags If that's not the case.

Please note that the B-25 comes with a set of a basic drone reeds, but for a perfect and hassle-free experience, we recommend purchasing EzeeDrone reeds separately from Scottish renowned drone reed makers, Pipe Dreams Reeds.
