Peter Henderson pipes were outstanding in every respect during Greig Sharpe's tenure with Henderson 1961-1971.

The set features the unique 'Chalice cup' design, an innovation by Greig Sharpe in 1971, which grants the drones a distinctive, top-shaped appearance reminiscent of a chalice. This bagpipe set stands as an enduring symbol of his artistic ingenuity.

Crafted with precision, this reproduction set uses black shaded seasoned Indian Cocobolo wood adorned with imitation Ivory mounts and ferrules. Following the legacy of Peter Henderson pipes, the drone stocks adopt the renowned "Henderson bore" measurements, elevating the overall playing experience. 

The drone stocks are tuned in A (480 to 486hz), while the chanter is tuned in Bb (B-flat) at 466.16hz, promising a harmonious playing experience. 

The airbag incorporated in this set features a durable synthetic material with convenient medium dimensions measuring 28 inches in length and 12 inches in height.

This set includes a practice chanter with reed, a pipe chanter reed, an airbag cover, and a cord, all conveniently packaged in a carrying bag.
